The beginning ......





Nearly ten years ago, Michael and I were in France for my 30th birthday. It was then, as we ate a baguette et fromagè (baguette and cheese) and drank some amazing rouge vin (red wine) in an empty block of land in a suburb of Bordeaux that we decided we wanted to live and experience France "for real". 


Now, nearly ten years later and with two kids to add to the mix, we are doing it! We'd love you to come on an adventure with us as we traverse through France, a little bit of Spain and wherever else the road may take us....

      Hello WSM Katie! I swear a solemn oath not to leave 50 euros worth of cheese in any fridges as I travel!! I had forgotten about this little error in my ways!! But thanks for reminding me! xo

    My goodness, I've already gained a kilo by looking at your photographs! I'd have eaten that raspberry too ..... Finding time to keep your Blog up to date is going to be some achievement with all this l'exploration de la famille autour de Paris, but can't wait. GREAT beard WSS - oh so europeene!
